Drive and automation systems have to be continuously available - in any industry all over the world.
Increased wear can lead to a stand still of the entire plant and cause noticeable financial loss.
That's why the customer wanted Siemens to provide a comprehensive Motor Management Program to ensure the long-term availability of 47 generators.
Furthermore the quality of the vibration analysis should be improved.
Motor Management Program (MMP)
On-site services: Inspection, testing, repair and reporting at customer site
In-house services: Maintenance and repair in the Siemens repair center in Istanbul incl. RCFA (Root Cause Failure Analysis)
Furthermore a vibration analysis schedule (2 times per year) and a electrical testing schedule (1 time per year) for the 47 generators were implemented.
Customer is able to focus on their core business while Siemens handles their motors.
Increased availability of the motors due to condition-based maintenance measures and optimized maintenance schedules.
Significant cost savings due to optimized maintenance measures.
Customer benefits from a 24/7 availability of Siemens service personnel.
Reduction in handling due to on-site service and in-house service from a single source.
