The end customer ASA Hospital Sarajevo required a comprehensive building solution that included HVAC systems with connected devices, building automation, fire safety, and access control. For their specific needs, we collaborated with the following solution partners:

The hospital is equipped
with the fire protection system Cerberus PRO
(3x FC726, approx. 2,300 fire detectors, 2x extingushing
systems Sinorix
1230, and integrated building management software Desigo
CC for central management. An access control system is used to control 220 doors throughout the facility.
Building automation: About
3,000 BACnet tags
and 200 SCADA tags are integrated
on Desigo CC. This integration allows for the monitoring and control of various systems and equipment, including 40 AHU units, 260 RDG200KN room thermostats,
heating/cooling
substations,
VAV systems,
electricity
consumption monitoring,
smoke
extraction
systems, and pressure control in operating rooms, garages, server rooms, and other technical spaces. Desigo PCX controllers handle the control and monitoring tasks, utilizing protocols such as BACnet IP, Modbus IP, Modbus 485, and KNX.

The first private general hospital in Bosnia and Herzegovina opened its doors to patients in April 2024. The hospital covers an area of 36,000 m2, with 180 hospital beds spread across seven floors. It also features 10 operating rooms and 15 specialist departments. In the early stages of development, the hospital has a total of 267 employees. The clinical manager of the hospital is the Medical University Vienna International.
