energy and usage data that will enable improved reliability programs and help
measure the targeted reduction of CO2 emissions by 30%.
- Collect data from
the field devices, connect them with the higher supervision system and store
on-premise.
- Access the
substation data remotely.
- Implement a diagnostic/ assets management too.
- Speed up fault identification
and diagnosis.
- Ensure data visualization and state-of-the-art documentation.
The challenge of this project was to execute it during the COVID-19 pandemic having most of the technical clarifications, alignment, FAT and even commissioning remotely or partially remotely.
An additional challenge for Siemens was to install a minimum of communication-capable devices in the switchgear already in production, without affecting data acquisition requirements, in order to collect the necessary data to achieve a satisfactory result.
