Vulnerability Services enable the retrieval of security notifications affecting all pre-registered components used by Nokia Solutions and Networks Oy.
The offering aggregates data from thousands of vulnerability information sources and continuously updates the centralized database managed and hosted by Siemens.
With Vulnerability Services, the customer receives complete vulnerability data in a timely way, specifically tailored to its externally offered solution landscape.
The released security notifications contain key information such as CVSS V3 score, vendor web-link, patch status/hotfixes that shall be considered as part of a comprehensive vulnerability management process.
Vulnerability Services are monitoring more than 280,000 software and hardware components and providing more than 30,000 security notifications per year regarding components from Siemens, 3rd parties and open source communities.
More than 18,000 new components are added to the Vulnerability Services database each year as part of the service to expand and continuously improve the security concept.
