With over 800 employees, ÖBB-Immobilienmanagement GmbH is the largest property management company in Austria and manages 21,730 properties with a total area of approx. 190 million m2. As a subsidiary of ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG, it manages buildings of ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG, Österreichische Postbus AG, Produktion GmbH, Rail Cargo Austria Group and Technische Service GmbH.

ÖBB-Immobilienmanagement GmbH and Siemens are working together on the implementation of intelligent LED lighting at over 1,000 railway stations in Austria. The aim is to reduce energy consumption and increase operational safety through traffic-dependent control and modern technology. The pilot project starts at Gramatneusiedl station.
