Pharma Integration, founded in Siena in 2016, operates in the pharmaceutical industry by designing and manufacturing innovative, fully automated systems dedicated to the filling of next-generation injectable drugs. The pharmaceutical sector is highly innovative in developing complex and cutting-edge drugs. Traditional filling models rely on outdated technologies, posing significant risks to safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity.
Pharma Integration has reimagined the entire filling process to be more rational, safe, and efficient, offering robotic solutions and advanced technologies aligned with Industry 4.0 and 5.0 standards, while complying with the strictest quality and safety regulations. The proposed solutions are based on Siemens’ wide range of industrial PCs, known for high performance and stability, integrated with the SIMATIC S7-1500 Software Controller for machine automation management within a single development environment: TIA Portal. Additionally, the SIMATIC ET200SP decentralized peripheral in Profinet was implemented to manage all field signals with precision and reliability.
In the pharmaceutical world, Siemens is a name synonymous with reliability, and so we began working closely with their team to find the best solution for our needs.
