Riha Wesergold, Energy data recording with ET 200SP Energy Meter
Food & Beverages
Riha Wesergold Getränke GmbH & Co. KG
Conservation of natural resources
Switch-off of energy-intensive consumers during slow processes
Transparency down to the sub-distribution level to obtain ISO 50001 certification.
The power consumption at the main distribution boards is recorded with Sentron PAC 3200/4200 energy meters. Sub-distributors are included in the calculation of consumption with the Simatic ET 200SP Energy Meter. Communication with the energy management system is performed by two Simatic S7-300 controllers (CPU 319 3PN/DP).
"The decisive factor is the increased transparency and the
fact that we can exploit the potential for optimization and savings
single-handedly and with minimum effort."
Oliver Golembiewski, Head of Electrical Engineering, Dodow
Early certification according to ISO 50001 with an integrated energy measurement system
Avoid current peaks to ensure better rates from the power company, power consumption measurement at main distributors (SENTRON PAC power monitoring devices 3200/4200)
Economic and space-saving solution for transparent power consumption with current measurements directly at the consumer (ET 200SP with Energy Meter)
DIN
ISO 50001 will become mandatory for companies in Germany at the end of 2015.
Riha Wesergold has had an energy management system from Siemens since 2009 and
has thus achieved the certification early. New features include Simatic ET 200SP
Energy Meters that make the energy usage of individual consumers transparent.
They are the basis for load shedding strategies that now continuously reduce the
consumption rates.
