11er Nahrungsmittel GmbH is a family business from Western Austria, which is completely committed to potato products. Every year about 80,000 tons of raw potatoes are processed and a biogas plant is operated with the production residues.

The following challenges were mastered in the project:

• Communication and integration from data from all plant sections 
  
• Electrical planning and electrical system construction 
  

• Total energy supply of the biogas plant (630kVA) 
  
• Installation and control of water cycle technology Reconstruction and adaption of hardware and software of the processing plant for input material 
  
• Delivery, coordination and implementation of measuring and control technology 
  
• Planning, coordination and implementation of electro-technical explosion-protection, including earthing and lightning protection (partly also in APEX-zones) 
  
• Connection of independent plant components via data communication at SPS-level 
  
• Planning and implementation of the higher-level process control systems (WinCC OA) for visualization and control of the entire plant
