Siemens Croatia has signed a contract with
Strabag AG for a complete package of electrical engineering and automation for
two wastewater treatment plants in Croatia: WWTP Oroslavje (36,940 people
equivalents) and WWTP Zlatar Bistrica (14,690 p.e.). Strabag AG is the main contractor for
these two plants with design and build contract including trial operation.
The scope of delivery includes the development of
preliminary, main and detailed design, delivery and installation of electrical
and automation equipment and systems, connection, testing and commissioning.
For the first time Siemens will implement gProms for the online
simulation and optimization of wastewater treatment processes.
