From semi-automatic wrapping machines it has switched to the current automated systems and integrated turnkey systems.

The AVR 400 FLEXA project involves an automatic ring wrapping machine for palletised loads, ensuring several benefits: 

• it is flexible, reliable and ensures high productivity 
• it allows the use of any type of film 
• it is particularly suitable in lines with automatic warehouses, LGV and AGV. 

Moreover, AVR 400 FLEXA guarantees results even with unstable loads and complex shapes; in fact, the film can start and end at any height. Special wrapping cycles are also available, such as the independent wrapping of two stacked pallets.
Lastly, during the process, Pieri could easily reach full precision in action and integrate all the machine equipment thanks to the use of the Siemens' TIA Portal tool and the PROFINET network.
