SIMATIC PCS 7 Station Gateway was used for coupling via IEC 61850 with the following details:  

• Integration of an existing SIPROTEC medium-voltage switchgear with IEC61850-capable field devices in SIMATIC PCS 7 via Station Gateway 
• Solution from a single source using control system for joint monitoring and control of the processes and the switchgear
