• One safety solution for all vehicle types (differential, tricycle, omnidirectional)
• space saving solutions for small automated vehicles
• reduction of system complexity

Integration of Siemens Safe Velocity software in omnidirectional ConTrax® Module One vehicle from BÄR Automation. The Software will be further tested on a second vehicle in ARENA 2036.The following Siemens' Solutions were used: 

• Common tests and validation of safety software Safe Velocity in Baer Automtations testing environment 
• SIMATIC S7-1514 F-PLC for the installation of SIMOVE Safe Velocity TIA library
• SIMATIC IPC 127E for the installation of the SIMOVE Safe Velocity scanmatching software (docker container) 
• SIMOVE Safe Velocity to monitor the velocity of the vehicle in a safe manner; the output of Safe Velocity can be used to switch the safety fields according to the vehicle's velocity
• Software defined, SIL 2 / PLd  precertified safety software
