Siemen's factory in Erlangen, Germany has become a Digital Lighthouse Factory by following the Green Lean Digital approach and many practices that position it as a leading technological production site, at the edge of industry 4.0, harnessing newfound technologies to achieve staggering results.
Objectives: The challenge was to ensure seamless integration into existing assembly lines, with easy operation by the factory's team. In 1 use case, the challenge was to ensure that packaged units with multiple variants are packed as required, containing all parts. The other use case is the inspection of Siemens electronic devices in an automated line before shipping to the customers.
