Toyota Tsusho Otomotiv Sanayi was looking for a suitable service partner, who was able to minimize planned and unplanned downtimes in order to increase the availability of their plants. Furthermore, they were looking for a solution to be more flexible in the production and warehousing process. To accomplish these goals the customer wanted a qualified service solution to ensure their planning security and calculable service costs.

Siemens was able to offer a suitable Service and Maintenance Agreement for their SINAMICS-PLC, which includes predictive and preventive maintenance activities for the customers hardware and software on-site. In a first step the Siemens experts got an overview of the existing plant structure incl. all running assets and system software. The second step was to collect and achieve all the system software backups, to ensure nothing will be lost after the updates. In a last step the Siemens experts summarized all recommended service activities (e.g. updates/upgrades, out of date products) and discussed it with the customers technical personnel. Current service agreement as of December 2017 in Sakarya:

The Service and Maintenance Agreement is based on an annual renewable contract with the following reaction times and specifications:

• Reaction times: 6 hours
• Included services: SIMAIN cleaning, on-site training

Additionally, the service solution includes individual on-site trainings for the customers personnel and suitable spare parts. Previous service agreements as of May 2015 and June 2016:

Toyota Tsusho is a Toyota Group company, which is conducting various operations in Turkey such as steel trading and processing, automotive parts trading and warehousing, machinery installation project management for automotive customers. Currently, these operations are done at 2 locations (Gebze & Adapazari) with around 200 employees.
