For the transport of heavy trains inside the factory, equipment is needed that can move such a high weight back and forth. With the insufficient availability of KUKA AGV's it is time consuming to analyze and fix faults fast enough. For this reason, a solution had to be found that would improve the work with the giant transport vehicles.
By connecting KUKA AGV to Insights Hub, it is possible to quickly get an overview of all the data collected. Then the Node-RED connection to Insights Hub is set up with an OPC-UA gateway, which simplifies device management and data mapping.Variables are configured and mapped and with this collected data, useful dashboards are then created in the asset manager.
