There are two different preventive cleaning methods available within the Siemens SIMAIN cleaning offering, according the plants conditions and degree contamination dry cleaning: This method is used if dust or similar contaminants are detected. These are removed with anti-static brushes and vacuum cleaners. Wet cleaning (chemical liquid): It is used, when contaminations are not removable with the first method. Then the equipment is washed with chemical liquids. Furthermore, water purification with compressed air and dehumidification is done with a vacuum oven, before recommissioning. The Siemens Service experts chose the wet cleaning method for the customers Micromaster 4 converters.
