SITMA is specialized in the construction of automatic machines and systems for the packaging and logistics sector. The two main reasons of pride stand in the strong support for the community and the production of completely recyclable paper packaging.
During the Covid-19 emergency, Sitma provided its expertise, machinery and workforce to pack a first stock of 30,000 masks for the municipalities of Castelvetro and Vignola in the province of Modena. A gesture of great importance, since Sitma is the first company to make masks with paper, well responding to both the health emergency and the environmental one.
Within Siemens' outputs though, the S7-1500 PLC has been adopted in the 1150 packaging line equipped with an external uncoiler 939.
The Siemens solutions, with the Simatic and Sinamics line, have contributed and are contributing to the success of all Sitma’s production lines sold on the international market.
