AllgäuNetz GmbH & Co. KG
Kempten Germany
AllgäuNetz GmbH & Co. KG is responsible for large parts of the electricity grid in the southern Allgäu region. Together with its partners, AllgäuNetz GmbH & Co. KG works daily on the changing energy landscape and implements changes with innovative and targeted measures. To make the electrical infrastructure even more sustainable, Siemens Smart Infrastructure is supplying two gas-insulated, SF6-free medium-voltage switchgear units from the new 8DJH24 blue GIS portfolio, which will be used as local substations in the grid area.
F-gas-free 24 kV ring cable switchgear from the Siemens 8DJH24 blue GIS portfolio
Global Warming Potential < 1
Like all other systems in the blue GIS portfolio from Siemens, this one also uses F-gas-free Clean Air as the insulation medium, which is based exclusively on natural components of the ambient air. In combination with the innovative technology of the blue Switch, it continues to offer all the advantages of a gas-insulated switchgear system.
