M1 Charging Station
Pattensen,
Germany
As part of the 2020 Auto Summit, the German cabinet approved the Charging Infrastructure Master Plan II, which stipulates that 25% of all German service stations should offer fast charging of at least 150 kW by the end of 2022 and 75% by the end of 2026.  This ambitious goal poses a major challenge for today's power grid, which in many places is not designed for high charging power. In order to nevertheless offer charging options in places with a low-power grid, a fast-charging option is also to be created in Pattensen at the M1 service station of Mundt GmbH as an example. Therefore, this project represents a reference solution for locations with similar conditions.
